We ask that you contact your district missions director. We will need your district’s approval to send you an application. For District Office contact information, please click here.

The application process

• Once we have received your application, it will take approximately 6 to 9 months to process.
• This process includes references, health physicals, personality testing, and a personal interview.
• Once the above list is completed, the Executive Committee of World Missions will review your information. If they approve, you will be invited to Candidate Orientation.
• Candidate Orientation is a 5 day orientation with sessions on budgets and itineration, with a time to meet your regional director and the executive committee. Orientation takes place twice a year: March and October. For exact dates, click here.
  
• After the orientation, the executive committee will meet with the World Missions Board where a decision will be made concerning missionary approval. The World Missions Board meets in April and November.
• If you are approved as a missionary, you will have 90 days before you will have to begin full-time itineration.
