Missionary-In-Training

The Missionary-in-Training program was specifically developed to assist Licensed young adults who meet the educational requirements and are in the process of gaining ministerial experience leading to Ordination. Under the mentorship of a veteran missionary, the MIT develops his or her ministry, acquires cross-cultural experience, and gains the practical ministry skills that qualify the MIT for ordination and a lifetime of service as an Assemblies of God Appointed General missionary.

The MIT qualifications are:

  • A licensed Assemblies of God minister. (Learn more)
  • A college degree is preferred. (Applicant may be required to complete specific courses in biblical studies.)
  • Personal debt may not exceed $200 per month.
  • A career call to missions.
